Edward Kirksey Morris Jr.

Lovingly known to all his family as Kirk, he left us on Sept 29, 2003, after a very long battle with lung cancer. Kirk actively volunteered in many communities for Habitat for Humanity, building homes for families; He was a volunteer fireman for many years and also enjoyed coaching youth sports.

Kirk loved life. He loved to go dancing until he no longer had the strength. He loved to shoot pool, play dominos and sports. Kirk was also a certified diver. He spent 20 years in the military; his first stint in the Army and the rest in the Navy.

Kirk left one son, Jason Wayne, his wife Rachael, and three grand kids; Caleb, Joshua, and Kattlyn. His mom, Peggy Morris, two sisters and their families also survive. He also had many other relatives and some great friends. Kirk was loved by many and we all miss him very much!!
